Dear Mom: Around the world with the Air Transport Command during WWII will be presented by Thomas C. Bennett at the Prince Memorial Library, 266 Main Street, Cumberland, Maine, 829-2215.

Relive the war experience of Sgt. Joseph A. Bennett, U. S. Army Air Corps, as he circumnavigates the globe during the final years of World War II.  His personal journey is recounted through the letters he wrote to his mother back home in Maryland and the photographs he took while serving on the back lines in Africa and India.  Includes highlights of the role the USAAC Air Transport Command played during the war as well as general battle history of the areas where Bennett served.
