High School Girls Lacrosse Refs needed

The Maine Women’s Lacrosse Officials Association has scheduled training clinics for both adult umpires and junior umpires.  Information about the clinics and on-line registration are available on MWLOA’s website:  www.mainewloa.com


The adult umpire program meets four consecutive weeks in March and trains officials to umpire youth, middle school and high school games.  Full information is on the New Umpire Classes webpage on our website.   Clinics last from 6 to 8 pm at all sites:

            Thornton Academy, Saco:  Mondays March 2, 9, 16, 23

Brunswick High School, Brunswick:  Mondays March 2, 9, 16, 23

Falmouth High School, Falmouth:  Thursdays March 5, 12, 19, 26

[We hope to have a 4th option at Thomas College, Waterville – TBA]


The junior umpire program meets for 5 hours on a single Saturday.  Teenagers will be trained to umpire club youth games.  Full information is on the Teen/Player Umpire webpage on our website.   Clinics last from 9 am to 2 pm at all sites:

            Cony High School:  Sunday March 8

            Brunswick High School:  Saturday March 21

            South Portland Rec Center:  Saturday March 28
