Sounds of Silence

(An American Sign Language Class)

Grades: 3-8

Instructor:  Mrs. Robin Sidders

The winter session of the Sounds of Silence program will be starting soon!  SOS is a fun, 8-week after-school American Sign Language class in which students will learn sign language skills and develop an awareness of the deaf culture, discovering that we are all unique and special.  While SOS is dedicated to helping new students learn the basics of the language, Mrs. Sidders is always finding unique opportunities to continue to challenge her returning students

The SOS experience includes optional performance opportunities that help students build confidence and self-esteem.  This winter we will be performing the National Anthem at a Greely varsity basketball game along with a celebration performance for family and friends.  In order to provide an excellent program, enrollment will be limited (first come, first served).

I can’t say enough good things about SOS and Mrs. Sidders.  My daughter is happy and engaged and learning so much.”

“The curriculum is well thought out and complete.  Mrs. Sidders includes many different learning mediums for her class which keeps the children excited and engaged.”
