Hospital to School Transition Program
This
service is available to any family whom has a child admitted to a
Psychiatric Hospital. The program can help transition that child back
into school. The S.S.P. can be the central contact here at school for
your family/child. The S.S.P. will also attend any
Transition/Termination/Case Review meetings at the hospital.

Cumberland County Case Review Committee
This
committee meets monthly to assist families with severely emotionally /
physically disabled children to brainstorm ideas and, if applicable, to
assist in acquiring those services.
Cumberland County Child Abuse & Neglect Council
This
is our counties child abuse prevention network that works on a variety
of prevention activities in schools and communities.
CONFIDENTIALITY
The
Social Service Provider maintains confidentiality as required by the
State of Maine and Federal Regulations for both Individual, Family, and
Substance Abuse Counseling, as a Licensed Social Worker in the State of
Maine.
The Social Service Provider will discuss with you at a first meeting about confidentiality and it's regulations and when confidentiality CANNOT be kept.
If
a person or family wishes for the Social Service Provider to gather or release
information you will need to complete a Release of Information Form that
the Social Service Provider can provide.
