On Friday, October 5 between 1:00-3:00 PM, the entire MSAD #51 staff will be involved in a campus-wide emergency evacuation exercise. This drill is being conducted on a day without students in order to prepare school staff in the event of a real emergency. With the assistance of the Cumberland police and fire departments, all school district staff will rehearse the drill using the MSAD #51 bus fleet. The district's safety committee is implementing this drill in line with the MSAD #51 emergency preparedness plan. You may notice atypical activity occurring on and near the MSAD #51 campus on the afternoon of October 5, which may cause some minor traffic delays on Tuttle Road and Main Street near the intersection of Route 9 and Blanchard Road. Please note this is related to the drill only and your patience and understanding during this time is appreciated.
