IMPORTANT Guide to MSAD #51’s Budget Votes and Referendum Questions In order to pass school budgets in Maine, two
citizen votes are required. We hope to clarify the process with the information

SECOND VOTE June 11th, 2013 from 7:00 AM until 8:00 PM CUMBERLAND: Town Hall, 290 Tuttle Road NORTH YARMOUTH: Westcustago Hall, 475 Walnut Hill Road
Absentee Ballots may be issued for the MSAD #51 Budget Validation Referendum Election at your Town Office. Ballots may not be received back prior to June 7, 2013 (After the Public Budget vote held at the High School on June 6, 2013). You may mail your ballot back as long as it is postmarked June 7, 2013, or later, or you may drop it off in person. There is no in-person Absentee voting after June 7, 2013, unless there are special circumstances as defined by State Statue Title 21-A §753-B.2.
The district web site, www.msad51.org, provides budget details including the budget, cost centers summary, warrant articles, Q&As and presentations from prior School Board meetings. Please contact the Superintendent’s office at 829-4800, if you have questions or would like information mailed to you.
