Reminder: How Do Colleges Really Choose Students? Lecture at PML

Prince Memorial Library's Lecture Series continues this Thursday, Jan. 7 at 6:30 p.m.

"How Do Colleges Really Choose Students?"  Speaker Wendy Thompson, former assistant dean of Admissions at Bowdoin College, will offer an inside look at the college admission process and help students and parents understand the role that essays, interviews, extracurricular activities, sports and other factors play in the admission decisions that colleges make.

Wendy served on the admissions staff at Bowdoin College from 2000 to 2012, where she evaluated thousands of applications and advised students at college planning workshops at Lehigh University. Her college and independent school admissions career spans 30 years.
